Ken LaTourette

After spending the first eleven years living in ten different places, including Southern California, Montana, and Puerto Rico, our family moved to the Central California city of Salinas (the salad bowl of the United States). In Salinas I was lucky enough to experience many different jobs such as newspaper delivery, concessionaire at minor league baseball games, Long’s Drugs (now CVS) clerk, and finally, working in the fields and produce shipping facility to help pay my way through school at Chico State University.

After graduating with a degree in Business, I worked for about ten years in the field of computer software. During this time, I had a team that worked for me, and we consulted with small and large companies helping automate, manage, and run their business more efficiently. My wife and I then decided to make the change and commit to a profession where we could dig in and build long-term relationships helping others.

I am thankful and blessed for the personal and professional opportunities State Farm has provided to me and my family, which has allowed me to give back to my community in many ways. I have been fortunate to coach youth sports, volunteer at our local schools, serve in leadership positions at the Tustin-Santa Ana Rotary Club, and volunteer and support many local events, including sponsorship at Tustin’s Concerts in the Park and the Tustin Community Public Schools Foundation’s Dino Dash.

On the business side, we’ve received multiple awards for our agency’s achievements, none of which would be possible without the hard work my team puts in each and every day.
